The Full Body MOT Plus Cancer Health Check is our most extensive screening package, combining a comprehensive all-round health check with a broad panel of tumour markers. Alongside a detailed assessment of your major organ systems, it screens a wide range of cancer-related markers, making it our most thorough option for those who want both a full health baseline and broader cancer marker screening in a single appointment.
Physical check and body composition
A detailed set of physical measurements, including height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, blood oxygen (SpO2), and a full body composition analysis breaking down fat, muscle, bone, water, and metabolic rate.
Blood sugar and blood group
Fasting glucose and HbA1c to check for diabetes and long-term blood sugar control, along with your ABO and Rh blood group.
Heart (cardiac markers)
Markers reflecting the condition of the heart muscle, including cardiac troponin, creatine kinase (CK and CK-MB), LDH, and HBDH.
Cholesterol (lipids)
A full breakdown of the fats in your blood, including total, HDL, and LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated cholesterol ratios.
Kidney function
Markers of how well your kidneys are filtering and clearing waste, including creatinine, urea, uric acid, and eGFR.
Liver function
A detailed assessment of liver health, including the liver enzymes, bilirubin, proteins, bile acids, and other markers of how well the liver is working.
Pancreas
Amylase and lipase, enzymes that reflect the health of the pancreas.
Electrolytes and minerals
Essential salts and minerals reflecting your fluid balance and many body processes, including sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, phosphorus, and bicarbonate.
Inflammation
CRP and high-sensitivity CRP, markers that can indicate inflammation in the body and help assess cardiovascular risk.
Vitamins and iron (micro-elements)
Vitamin D and vitamin B12, both important for energy, nerves, and general health, along with ferritin, the best marker of your iron stores.
Hormones
TSH and free T3 to assess thyroid function, plus testosterone, an important hormone for energy, mood, and sexual health.
Cancer markers
A broad panel of tumour markers relevant to a range of cancers, including markers for bowel, pancreatic, liver, gastric, and blood-related cancers, and sex-specific markers for breast and ovarian cancer in women and prostate and testicular cancer in men. Please read the important note below on how these should be understood.
Blood Count
A complete analysis of your red cells, white cells, and platelets, giving broad insight into anaemia, infection, immune health, and clotting.
Urine analysis
A wide-ranging urine test checking for signs relevant to kidney health, diabetes, infection, and more, including protein, glucose, blood, microalbumin, and the albumin-to-creatinine ratio.
An important note on the cancer markers
This is the most important thing to understand about this package. Tumour markers are screening indicators, not diagnostic tests for cancer, and they must be interpreted with care.
- A normal result does not rule out cancer. Many cancers, especially in their early stages, do not raise these markers, so a normal result should not be taken as an all-clear.
- A raised result does not confirm cancer. These markers are very commonly raised by benign, non-cancerous conditions, so a raised level often has an innocent explanation and does not mean cancer is present.
- Because of this, a raised marker can lead to anxiety and further investigations that turn out to be unnecessary, while a normal marker can give false reassurance.
For these reasons, tumour markers are generally most useful for monitoring people already diagnosed with cancer, rather than for screening people without symptoms. Any raised or abnormal result should always be discussed with your GP, who can consider it in the context of your symptoms, history, and any further tests needed. If you have specific symptoms or concerns about cancer, please speak to your GP directly rather than relying on these markers alone.
Why it matters
This package offers our most complete picture of your general health, checking many of the body's major systems in a single appointment, alongside a broad panel of cancer-related markers. Used with a clear understanding of what tumour markers can and cannot tell you, and always in discussion with your GP, it can form part of a wider approach to looking after your health.
Fasting for 8-12 hours required
This test provides an official, quality-assured laboratory report with reference ranges. These results are for clinical information and do not replace your GP or consultant. Always discuss abnormal results with your GP or specialist in the context of your medical history.
Our comprehensive MOT health check is designed to assess all the important health indicators with over 80 biomarkers. Like an MOT for your car, this test provides a complete assessment of your body's key systems to detect potential health issues early and monitor your overall wellbeing.
The test covers 14 comprehensive categories including physical measurements, blood sugar levels, cardiac markers, cholesterol profile, kidney and liver function, pancreatic enzymes, electrolytes, tumour markers, inflammation markers, vitamins, hormones, full blood count, and complete urine analysis.
Our Full Body MOT includes over 80 individual biomarkers, making it one of the most comprehensive health screening packages available.
The test costs £219 with no additional phlebotomy fee. This represents excellent value for such a comprehensive health assessment.
Results are available the next day, allowing you to quickly understand your health status and take any necessary action.
Yes, we offer a walk-in service, and you can also book online.
We recommend fasting for 8–10 hours before your test, so your glucose and cholesterol results are as accurate as possible. A morning appointment makes this easiest. If you have not been able to fast, you can still have the test, but please let us know when you arrive.
Yes, please stay hydrated and drink plenty of water before your test. Proper hydration helps with blood collection and doesn't affect most test results.
Yes, continue taking all prescribed medications as normal unless specifically advised otherwise by your GP. Please inform our staff of any medications you're taking.
Avoid strenuous exercise 24 hours before your test, as this can affect certain biomarkers, particularly cardiac enzymes and muscle-related markers.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before the test and don't smoke for at least 2 hours beforehand, as these can affect certain measurements.
Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can be easily rolled up for blood collection. You'll also need to provide a urine sample.
Yes, you'll receive a comprehensive report explaining all your results with reference ranges and clear indications of what each marker means for your health.
These tests assess your diabetes risk and blood sugar control over the past 2-3 months. Early detection of diabetes or pre-diabetes allows for lifestyle changes that can prevent progression.
Abnormal results may require a follow-up consultation with your GP, as they will have a comprehensive understanding of your medical history.
For men, we test PSA (prostate-specific antigen) to screen for prostate issues. For women, we test CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) which can indicate various types of cancer.
The comprehensive liver panel (12 different markers) assesses liver health, detects liver damage, and monitors liver enzyme levels. The liver performs over 500 functions, making its health vital.
Kidney function tests (creatinine, urea, uric acid, eGFR) assess how well your kidneys are filtering waste from your blood. Early detection of kidney problems is crucial for prevention.
We test HDL (good) cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglycerides, plus calculate important ratios that provide insight into your cardiovascular risk.
The cardiac panel (including CK, CK-MB, Troponin, HBDH, and LDH) helps assess heart muscle health and can detect recent heart damage or stress, even when symptoms aren't present.
We measure your weight, height, calculate your BMI, check your blood pressure, and monitor your pulse rate. These basic measurements provide important baseline health information.
We check Vitamin D and B12 levels, as deficiencies are common and can cause fatigue, mood changes, bone problems, and neurological issues.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your appointment. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Yes, you're welcome to bring a friend or family member for support, especially if you're anxious about blood collection.
The entire appointment typically takes 15-20 minutes, including check-in, blood collection, and urine sample provision. For walk-ins, add another 5 to 10 minutes for form completion.
This test complements but doesn't replace regular GP care. It's excellent for health monitoring and early detection, but any concerning results should be discussed with your GP.
Yes, comprehensive testing is more cost-effective and provides a complete picture of your health, allowing us to identify patterns and relationships between different body systems.
Our Full Body MOT offers an extended panel testing over 80 biomarkers, providing a detailed preventative health check designed to complement routine NHS care.
Yes, the Full Body MOT is particularly valuable for older adults as it provides comprehensive monitoring of age-related health changes.
Pregnant women can have most of these tests, but some reference ranges differ during pregnancy. Please inform us if you're pregnant or think you might be.
We'll provide a sterile container and clear instructions. A mid-stream sample is preferred for the most accurate results.
The comprehensive urine analysis includes 15 different parameters checking for kidney function, diabetes, infections, liver function, and other metabolic indicators.
Family history is important context for interpreting your results. Please inform us of any relevant family medical history, as this helps us put your results in context.
For healthy adults, an annual Full Body MOT is recommended. Those with existing health conditions or risk factors may benefit from more frequent testing as advised by their GP.
