Biomarker: IgE Sample: BLOOD Results: 2 HRS Phlebotomy fee: £10 IgE test measures the level of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in the blood. IgE is an antibody that is produced by the immune system in response to an allergen, such as pollen, dust, or certain foods. IgE disorders includes: -- Allergic rhinitis: Sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, itching of the nose or eyes, and postnasal drip. -- Allergic conjunctivitis: Redness, itching, and watering of the eyes. -- Asthma: Wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. -- Atopic dermatitis (eczema): Itchy
