HP infection is related to a variety of gastrointestinal diseases, such as chronic gastritis, duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, non-ulcer dyspepsia, gastric cancer and gastric mucosal-associated lymphoma, and even parenteral diseases. The ANTI-HP test is a blood test that checks to see whether your body has made antibodies to HP bacteria. If you have antibodies to HP in your blood, it means you either are currently infected or have been infected in the past. Further tests (breath, stool or endoscopy) may be required to confirm infection, if your ANTI-HP test is positive. The symptoms of H. pylori infection can include: -- Stomach pain -- Nausea -- Vomiting -- Heartburn -- Bloating -- Weight loss
