BIOMARKERS: -- Hepatitis B Antibody (ANTI-HBS) -- Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBSAG) -- Hepatitis C Antibody (ANTI-HCV) -- HIV Antibody (ANTI-HIV) Sample: BLOOD Results: 4 HRS Phlebotomy fee: £15 NHS NEW HEALTH WORKERS CHECK New healthcare workers who will perform exposure-prone procedures (EPPs), need additional health clearance to work with the NHS. Additional health clearance means being non-infectious for -- HIV (antibodies negative), -- Hepatitis B (surface antigen negative or, if positive, e-antigen negative with a viral load of 103 genome equivalents per ml or less) -- Hepatitis C (antibody negative or, if positive, negative for hepatitis C RNA). All new health workers are required to complete this check before their appointment can be confirmed. CODE: GT
