Biomarker: E2 Sample: BLOOD Results: 2 HRS Phlebotomy fee: £10 Estradiol is a type of oestrogen produced by the ovaries and is responsible for a variety of functions, including regulating the menstrual cycle, maintaining bone health, and promoting sexual development. The E2 test measures the level of estradiol in the blood and is important for: 1. Assessing Reproductive Health 2. Diagnosing Menopause (declining estradiol levels) 3.
